At Earthworks we are trying to lessen our Environmental Impact and support our Community however we can. As such our materials are locally sourced and produced whenever possible, and our packaging and delivery options do what they can to eliminate excess plastics. Even the Bulk Bins in our yard are made from Recycled Lobster Traps and Recycled Concrete!

Yard Bag/Bulk Delivery Service
Yard Bags – When you only need a yard or two and don’t want the mess! Our ultra convenient, poly woven, reusable bulk bags are the solution to all your yard needs. Each Yard Bag contains up to 1 cubic yard of the material of your choice. It is delivered via picker truck and placed in your front yard or driveway where you have indicated. Just order, mark the location, and we’ll do the rest!
Disposal – Our Yard Bags aren’t just great for dropping things off, they’re great for picking things up! Keep your Yard Bag for home use, or fill it with yard debris or household junk and we will pick it up and dispose of it for you. All natural materials are taken to a compost facility and all junk taken to the landfill.
Mini Bags – Only need a small amount of material but don’t want to go to the store or toss out plastic bags? Our reusable mini-bags can provide 2-3 cubic feet of the bulk material of your choice and can be delivered to your door.
Loads of bulk material – We can delivery 1-15 yards of bulk material at a time depending on your needs and your space. These loads are delivered via dump truck and require space for dumping.

All bulk materials are sold by in half yard increments for bulk loading, in 2 cubic foot reusable Mini-Bags, or in Yard Bags.
We will load your vehicle with whatever you’d like (we are not responsible to damage to vehicles due to overloading or poor choices).
Yard Bag Delivery – How it works
1.Figure out what you want – Mulch, Rubber Mulch, Soil, Compost, Compost Soil
(mix), Peastone, River Rock, Aggregate, Sand, Pit Run Gravel.
2. Figure out how much you want – Each material has a different application and
coverage rate. Check our Coverage Table for more info
3. Choose your material, amount, delivery method, and order online
4. Mark an X on your driveway or front lawn within 25’ of a parking area or street
side curb. We will deliver the material within a few business days
5. Decide what to do with your reusable Yard Bag – Keep it for home use, Return it
to us for a $5 refund, Fill it with Yard Debris (Natural material only – leaves/weeds,
brush) and contact us for a pick up, Fill it with household garbage and contact us for a pick up
6. Enjoy your free time and gardening!

Coverage/Application Rate
Soil – For sustainable turf growth we recommend a minimum of 6”
Compost – For soil amending w/ recommend a coverage of 1”-2” turned into your beds
Mulch – For weed reduction and moisture retention we recommend 3”-4”
Aggregate – For Interlocking Paver applications w/ recommend a minimum of 6” – 8” for non-vehicular applications and a minimum of 12”-18” for vehicular applications. More is always better
Peastone/River Rock – We recommend 2”-3” of coverage placed on top of a geotextile/weed barrier
Coverage/Application Rate
For coverage of 100 sq’ of any materials at the following depths:
2” – .67 cubic yards
3” – 1 cubic yard
4” – 1.33 cubic yards
6”- 2 cubic yards
8’ – 2.67 cubic yards
12” – 4 cubic yards
